I've only made it to Tairon so far... those Ninja with the exploding shuriken are SERIOUSLY getting on my nerves though :P Hopefully I get a bit better... gotta love those nunchucks... just wish I could get to a save point before dying and having to start the entire level! This game has the hardest regular enemies I've EVER encountered! http://robertlbryant.com

Ha! Yes I did! What is an even better 'finally' though, is the fact that I beat Alma! That was one tough fight, I ended up using the Dragon Sword to beat her. Now I'm having to put up with those soldiers who like to impale and shoot you. I really didn't play much after the Alma battle, that was exhausting :P http://robertlbryant.com

Isn't NG Black the same as the first except all the problems are fixed/improved?

Wow. Talk about the quality of games these days going down. I liked it back when they made a game where all the problems were fixed before release. What was Tecmo thinking?

What was Tecmo thinking? They were thinking that people complained about the camera, so they fixed it. They were thinking "Hey, downloading these hurricane packs sucks" So they put 'em right on the disc. They were thinking "This game is fucking hard" so they added an easier difficulty. They were thinking "Some people really like to punish themselves" so they added a harder difficulty. Never in history has a game been released perfectly. there are hundreds of glitch videos out there for older games too, only thing is, they're so simplistic there's no excuse for glitches.

Yeah, but you didn't see the three NG games for NES re-released. Well, except for Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for SNES but that sucked and didn't improve anything. Just admit that Tecmo lost what little greatness they had which was back in the late 80's, early 90's. Now they make perverted fighters and volleyball games. Very classy.
