lock this if this has already been done.
sadly I'm not very rich, but most of my video game collection has been pretty cheap. Sure, for a few "impossible" gems I've shelled out the extra money.

Whatever money i get, goes into gaming, or fishing stuff. Im cheap with the gaming too. I wont pay alot for a crappy, rare game when i could get like 5 good common games for the same price.

Pretty much 100% of my spare money goes into gaming, and improving my gaming experience. I'm pretty cheap too, I shop around, and compare a lot.

I can't say how many %... but not very much. I compare much and buy only good, cheap stuff until now.
Most of the money goes into books for university and about Japan and for living.

90% of my spare cash goes into music gear, so that leaves only a little for games and beer.

Emulation is great for me, because it's free and i'm broke, and also i'm a sucky gamer, so the save states really help me out.

Most of the time I don't have too much cash, so whatever I can sell online and ship out for what money I have gets me what I need. Whatever I make from that sale goes in PayPal, and I use it strictly for gaming needs. Other than that, when taxes roll around I'm usually swimming in new games :D http://robertlbryant.com

I spend a fair bit on Beer :) but as for games, it varies. At the moment i'm trying to save money for university and towards a next gen console. I'm pretty cheap so I do spend a fair time looking for games, and i'd rather wait and get a second hand copy if it's a new game I want. I also have to spread money between c.d's and d.v.d's too. I'd say about 50 pounds a month, less than a tenth of my monthly income

When I used to work and made buttloads of money (at least it was alot due to no huge bills) I had no problem going and buy a couple brand new games a week. Now, sadly (sniff) I can't do that anymore. So now instead of spending a couple hundred a week, it's dewindled down to next to nothing a year. http://www.myspace.com/jennikisaI need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

I think I might be making money, but I'm not sure.
It helps when I pick up 3 Neo Geo games for $10 total and then sell them for $200.

I don't spend much on my games. I like the whole idea of hunting down a game you want and finding it at the cheapest price. If I had to give you a price, I would say that I spend $50.00-$100.00 a year on my games. That's nothing compared to what I spend on wine, beer, and bills
