For the DVD player meet the Panasonic Cube Plays Music Mp3 DVDS and Games but the best part its region free!!

If you mean "do you think multi-platform games are worse on the gamecube than on xbox/ps2" then no.
But, when I owned all three of the new consoles, I used to get multi-platform games on the Xbox, no reason why. Unless it was cheaper on the Gamecube, as it sometimes was.
