Do any of you personally have a Holy Grail with your collecting? What I mean is, is there one, practically unreachable item that you would do anything to get a hold of?

The one thing that I would do anything to get a hold of would have to be a sit-down Sinistar arcade console. That would be so unbelievably awesome. Of course, not that many were made, and they're too expensive for me to afford in a million years, but still...

Bubble Bath Babes. I think it's actually a fun game, plus you get 8-bit porn ;) Ha! Seriously though, if that didn't go for as much as it does, I would've gotten my hands on it a LONG time ago. One night I played some via emu (of course, not having it and all), and was actually having a blast with it. The shapes of the bubbles makes it tough to get matches, but not impossible. I can't remember how far I got, but far enough into it that I started enjoying it for the challenge. I saw one on eBay recently as a Buy-It-Now, but it was listed at around $500-$600 USD. I really wish I had money to throw away, because that is what I look at as my "Holy Grail" for collecting. Another set items that I would love to have in my collection would be all of the unlicensed Tengen games. There was somebody on DigitPress recently who posted pics of his complete collection of Tengen games. He still needed some boxes and manuals, but that's not the kind of thing I'm personally after... just the games for me 8) I've liked all the Tengen games I've played so far. Vindicators, Rolling Thunder, Afterburner, etc. They're really high quality games. Too bad they were sneaky about the lock-out chip thing, because I think they may have developed even more games... even if under a subsidiary or two (Konami's Ultra was pretty awesome, remember ;) ). So that's the other, more reachable "Holy Grail" for me. All of the Tengen games. http://robertlbryant.com

The thing I'd most like to have is probably a Simpsons arcade cab. The 4 player one with all the artwork down the sides. That would be excellent smithers.

I did enjoy the N64 game more than the other ones. Anyways, I'd love to get Flinstones II too because my ne friend really wants it, and would make a great present.

I'd like to have the first Famicom ever produced, the prototype that was shown to the public back then. That would be cool to have, but, quite unreachable.
I think that is my Holy Grail. :)

The holy grail for me would be a SMB prototype. I wonder if there is any differences between the released version and the proto version. Even if not, it'd still be cool 8)

A gold or grey copy of a NWC cartridge is actually nicknamed "The Holy Grail of Game Collecting". I wouldn't actually want one (unless it was free), I'm just stating an interesting point that has to do with the topic.
