Can anybody name the only game to use the MMC2 chip? It was remade later as almost the exact same game...

seems to me that Mike Tyson's Punchout was the only one to use it. A game which I recently aquired, and will have to beat once again to remind myself of it's greatness.

Ah... first guess, and you are very correct. The MMC2 chip was utilized in that game to get the different characters faces to interact in the ways that they do. I'm still at a loss as to why it was never used for anything else... maybe there were programming difficulties. Seemed to work for that game, though!

It no doubt could have been used for other games, but perhaps nobody had the ambition to make use of it when they could just use one of the other mappers and make a few sacrifices in order to finish the game with more ease.
