credit should go to the creator of the petition. It makes sense. But I wonder why the game would be free(seeing that it's Chrono Trigger); Isn't that illegal? Either way, I still support it.

I'm not sure about the timing, but I believe they got the cease-and-desist order before Chrono Trigger got rereleased for the Playstation. So, Square Enix probably didn't want it stealing the legitimate game's thunder. Still, I don't see why they could have been allowed to continue after the game was released. Unless, of course, something else is in the works.
