Hey all i was wondering what your mind sets are when you play video games and such. Like do you think about if people are playing this game or you cant focus because too much stuff is in your head or do you just usually play the game and not care?

I play games to take my mind off of other crap, So I'm usually pretty focused. I don't care what people think of my gaming habits.

Usually I tend to think about the game, but there are times when I have to much on my mind to sit down and play a game. It's been like that since about mid September actually....

When i'm playing a game and feel I can't focus I usually stop. But, most of the time, i'm pretty focused.
I don't care what people think of my gaming habits/choice in games.

Without lubrication! Ouch! : I don't care what people think; I used to get strange looks from my female friends(about me playing video games), so I ditched em. All they wanted to do is gaze into a mirror puttin on goops of tacky makeup and go shopping. That's NOT FUN.
My mindset when playing games? Depends on the game. For example if I'm playing something like GTA, I have the tendency to think, murder, destruction, beat up some ho's. But if I'm playing something like Katamari, I'm all happy, yah, life is good, lets roll over things. Make those kitties meow. :D

Uh... I'venever been made fun of. If I was, why the hell would I care? I just like videogames, any console. Besides, I take pride in being a fan of old-school games. I can't even open up my computer without people seeing the background and freaking out. THEM: "Oh, man, Super Mario Brothers! Where'd you get the background?" ME: "I just took a screenshot of it." THEM: "Oh, that's cool... wait, you have it on your computer?! ME: "Yeah. I have a bunch of games on here." THEM: "Woah, that's awesome! Can I play?" If someone doesn't like you playing nintendo, screw 'em.

Yeah, I know how you feel. I like NES-Luke play games to take my mind of things. I don't worry about whether people think my gaming hbits are "cool". I'm cool, that's all that matters. :P not really.

That is NES-Lukes cat (and maybe Rolls too?). I play games for fun. Some of my friends laugh that I'm into "that old stuff" but only in a nice way. In fact most of my friends aren't into gaming at all so wouldn't know the difference between a NES and an Xbox. I have one friend who likes classic RPGs but even he doesn't like going older than SNES/Genesis. Well sometimes I make him play Micro Machines. :twisted:
