DVDs aren't that bad. : If you've got a good upscaler, you can get very good results also on big screens. With the latest FW updates the PS3 has an excellent upscaling function I read. Not what I meant at all. I'll never buy one because I can make my own. ;)

 That's the reason! :o Well that's true. I also made lots of own DVDs and copied some. But somehow my favourite movies I want to own on retail DVD (and later when I have a PS3 and prices came down on Blu Ray). Especially when they're cheap.

Good one, manuel. "Columbo" is a great classic detective series. I love watching it. It's still going every now and then on TV actually.
Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

Hey, Chris, we seem to have a similar interest in movies. :o
I always wanted to hear Columbo talk in English, because I only knew the German dub. Now I must say I like the German dub better than his original voice. Yes, it's true. I'm shocked myself.

Yes, I have also noticed that we do have similar taste when it comes to movies, and allow me to say that you have an excellent taste.
Hehe, yeah, I can understand how you feel about the dubbing issue. I feel the same way about the "Ice Age" movies. Not that I'm a huge fan or anything, but I saw the first one in Norwegian first, then English, and I've got to tell you that I do enjoy the Norwegian version better than the original.

Thanks. :o If we lived nearer to each other we could trade movies all the time. :)

Germany and the Netherlands are neighboring countries, so they are less than 10 miles apart. And he is from Norway, not from Holland. :P

Haha, I'm not a Dutchman, Aaron. Remember that I'm Norwegian from now on.
Yeah, it would have been awesome if we would have lived more near to each other and trade movies...

Make it two of us. Damn, I would have done "The Homer Thing" with it. I would have bought one package, which comes with two machines. Then I would place one by the fridge, and then the other one beside the couch in front of the TV.

I'd just like one that goes to work... No more 10-15 minute drives in the morning.
