I wanted to try these hacks out- http://www.zophar.net/hacks/nes.htmlBut they are IPS files. WTF is that? How do i play them? Again^ Look at the title.

Some of the newer emulators will run the patch without actually appending it to the ROM. Check the documents that came with your emulator for more info. If you want to append the patch to the ROM, use a utility from this page: http://www.zophar.net/utilities/patchutil.htmlLunar IPS is very small, and easy to use. I recommend it because of how compact it is. There are tons of others if that one won't work for you for some reason though.

I suggest VirtuaNES as an emulator, it allows you to automagically apply the IPS patches.
