I know over the years I've thought of plenty of things that would make a great game. Seeing as how most of us will probably never have the luxury of creating our own game, maybe we could post our ideas here! Nothing that I've really thought about jumps to my mind right now, so I'll think about all the ideas I had, and post them later. Anyone have anything they thought would be good?

How about a good roll playing game with a mix of nintendo heros witch would include a mix of mario, zelda, simon and varios others.

Well, I had a great idea that I've already suggested to my friend who is working on NES programming. Ikaruga NES it's a fairly simple game, so it should be possible.

I posted it in another thread, but a friend and I used to make PC games together, and even ported one to GBA. Our old site had information on all our games, but I never got around to it on the new site. Still, you can see what we had done of our own Ikaruga-inspired game. It had been in development for a couple months. www.nbgames.net

Way before 'Grand Theft Auto' I came up with the idea of a game that takes place in a large modern city where you play as sort of a Golgo 13 style detective who has to drive from location to location, picking up clues and hunting down criminals. After seeing how the free-form cities in 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' and 'Dick Tracy' on the NES worked, it all seemed very possible.

I thought of one of mine from a long time ago. I called it 'Ninja Assassins.' I never had a story worked out, but I imagined that it looked "somewhat" like Bad Dudes. When an enemy would approach you, the screen would zoom in to a Street Fighter-esque view. There would be more than one enemy at a time, though. I came up with this around the time the 16-Bitters were coming out, if that gives you an idea for how the graphics were to look.

I would like to have RPGs where villages and cities have more than 5 buildings, and where you can go in the houses and the interior of the houses look like real interiors of houses... do you get the point?
I mean, Zelda 3 e.g. is a good game (one of my favourite), but when you go into houses you don't feel that there is really someone at home.
The newer games quite come to be like this, but there can be done more, I think.
I want cities thriving with live in RPGs.

I always thought that it would be better if they had more than one room inside most of the inns. There's usually just a bed in each room. This isn't always the case, but most of the time it is.

If not, get a free service like Geocities and post it. Everybody here would be really interested. You should check out the shooter in the works by ZombieHunterX and his buddy.
