When I was a younger, I went over to a friends' house. His brother and him were telling me about this game called Karnov. When I saw it, I instanly thought it was cool. They asked if I wanted to play it, and I immediately agreed to... I'm playing the first level, and get killed by one of the bad guys, can't remember which. I get killed on my second man, not knowing exactly how the bullet that passed me by actually killed me. My next man appears on the screen, I take a few steps... and Karnov dies! Boy, was I mad. When I tried to play again, the same thing happened, and I told them their Nintendo must be busted or something. Later they told me that you can hit select on controller two, and it will kill your man. I have waited about 15 years to be able to do this to someone, and over the last summer, I got 3 people within two months! Oh, so fun!

Thank you for making me laugh. :D
I did similar things. There are games where you can hit start on controller no.2 and the game will pause. Do this e.g. in difficult jumping passages or when bullets fly around. :P

Just my opinon though, From what I've played of it I'll have to agree, it just didn't seem to play very smoothly... maybe if I spend some more time with it I'll get acustomed to it though. guess that's another added to the list :P

Well, it's not really a great game. It's alright, though. I suggest trying to go through the game. You might end up liking it. It's one of the games I chose for the cheesy games you enjoy topic. Not great, but if you're stumped on another game, throw in Karnov and beat it. You'll feel better! :D

Let's see... In Karnov you play a "fat guy with a mustache who spits fireballs"... ... Sounds to me like Nintendo has another lawsuit to file! Seriously. Karnov is an average game at best. It's based off of an older arcade title, so I didn't expect it to be much. It is however, very playable and will not likely frustrate too many gamers who are willing to devote a day to it (by playable, I mean the "easy to pick up and play through" type of game. I like the flying level the best.

I found that it didn't control and nicely as I thought it should, although I played it on NESterDC, maybe it's different with the NES controller.
