It's so silly. If it really was talking about Bush, no mention of trust would be made.

You know, even with all the crap he's pulled, I never really out-and-out hated him. I disliked him, especially since he has a penchant for embarrassing the hell out of us. But I never really hated him until he pulled the "We-Don't-Torture-But-I-Won't-Support-A-Bill-Banning-It-Because-Torturing-Helps-National-Security-Even-Though-We-Know-The-CIA-Won't-Torture" bullshit. I was absolutely livid when he did that.

God damn it, this is one of the big reasons why the world f*cking hates us!

"We're going bitch at you for human rights violations. What you're doing is completely unacceptable, and morally reprehensible. So, we're going to police you."
"What? Oh, them. They're terrorists. You see, they're a threat to our national security. That's why we can torture them. But you're not allowed to torture people."

Bush and Saddam should just throw down fisticuffs and bare knuckle box to sort out their differences.

I disliked Kerry because he was in favour of gay marriage.

I don't think it would be fair to "redefine" marriage, though I do think they should at least get some some sort of civil union/contract. I just don't think it's fair for homosexuals to get gyped on tax breaks (for being a "married" couple), inheritances (from their spouses), healthcare (through their spouses companys), social security (they don't "inherit" it).

Besides, think how the economy would boom with all the money the gay community would contribute to those celebrations?

But then again I'm also a firm believer that the snack industry should get behind the legalization of marijuana movement.

I don't see whats wrong with that. If some one is gay, why can't they get married to who they want to?

I have my own opinion, you have yours. I'm strongly against it.

one of my aunts is gay, and she's married. it doesn't bother me. honestly, i don't see what the big deal is. if 2 dudes wanna get married, that's their choice. if you're gay and want to get married, then get married. it's really none of my business or YOURS. however, i don't think they should be able to adopt, that would just confuse the hell out of the kid

I'm not exactly sure what to think of it. I definitely feel that not letting them marry is definitely persecution, but I can definitely understand why people are against it. I'd like to make up my mind, but I haven't heard any new arguments for either side.

OGTL, what's your reasoning for being against it? Is it religious? Or is it something else? I'd really like to hear your side of it.

I'm not really for or against gay marriage, although I do tend to lean toward against. Only because they throw those stupid damned parades and crap, and gay people think they're all special just because they're gay.

Do we have a STRAIGHT pride parade? Then why should we be forced to watch a bunch of morons dancing around in pink underpants on TV?

I don't wish to turn this into a big arguement, the only thing i have to say is, Men should not be penetrated.

hahahha, i agree. but men aren't the only ones that can be gay. are you saying that all women should be penetrated? if so i'd have to disagree, some just shouldn't be :P

There are straight men that also enjoy "penetration".
So now I'm confused...
Are they gay?
:?
