I was bored and was checking out eonline and apparently they are going to make a new Resident Evil movie! (I haven't even gotten around to seeing the 2nd one yet).
But apparently it is going to be called

Resident Evil Afterlife

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0432021/

So because I haven't seen the second one, is this a good or a bad thing?

This could be very, very good, or very, very bad. I haven't quite decided yet. I really like the Resident Evil movies, so I'll definatly have to see this one.

Why do you think it's going to be pile of crap? Trilogies are good. Look at Starwars for example. I think it has a lot of potential.

The original Starwars had 3... and then there is the Episode trilogy.

it's all the same story... Watch Episode 1, 2, 3, then the old ones... you can't have two trilogies of the same movie series... Notice everywhere that sells the DVDs says SAGA?

Actually it's been written 9 Star Wars books, but I doubt that the last three books will ever become movies though...

As for the third Resident Evil movie, I'm really looking forward to it! I've seen the two others, they rocked!

Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

Seems cool. I liked the first two myself, so I wouldn't expect this to suck that bad. I would definitely like to see some more details from the games though. You know, some more of the characters (even if in small roles, so as not to step on the current movie characters), places, etc. 2006... it's not that far away ;)

I'd have to find out more about it before seeing it. But, chances are, I won't. Cinema tickets are getting too pricey, so I don't really go see a film unless I really want to.

No, I refuse to believe that. I reject reality. The Star Wars saga ended with Return of the Jedi in '89.

Spike TV bought the rights to the last three. If so, they'll be TV movies. If so, kill me.

He, he, really? Well, that wouldn't be so cool, if it will happen...Anyway, what did you guys think of the characters in the Resident Evil games and movies?

There are crap loads of Star Wars novels out there (We have more than 17 star wars "novels" on our bookshelf) so what 3 were you talking about (being sold to Spike TV)?
