'Dragon's Lair'. Can't even finish the 2nd level. Of course, most of the difficulty lies in the fact that the game is so disgustingly unplayable and completely devoid of "fun". I have beaten 'Ghosts 'n Goblins', but it's one of those "only one time in my entire life" type things. http://www.playthenes.com

My first post here...I found the hardest NES game I ever played was Fester's Quest...Contra ranks up there as well, Simply not a solo game :)

The Immortal is bloody hard if you haven't had a lot of experience playing it. I had it as a kid and couldn't beat it, but did eventually finish it years later.

Festers quest was DEFFINTLEY diffucult. That is probably one game I will not finish. And Bionic Commando as well. Oh and im probably the only one but, Metal Gear is another game im horrible at.

Wizards & Warriors II--beating the element bosses at the very end is pretty rough. I've played this for years and beating the game is still a hit & miss situation.
