I'd say skip Wind Waker, and Super Mario Sunshine... I'm not much of a fan of the MegaMan collection either...

Ive played them through my freinds gamevube, and i liked them. I was skeptical of the cel shading at first, and glad they arent staying with it. I played a few hours of both, and i liked em.
Thanks Campkill for the list!
Also, ive heard good things about pikmin, and animal crossing. i dont know what they are, and i would like to see what you guys think about them. :D

i can't really say anything about Pikmin or Animal Crossing. i've never played either. but i have heard in Animal Crossing you can unlock cool NES related stuff. sounds pretty cool. i might have to pick it up sometime, if i find it cheap :P http://www.geocities.com/nes_life = NES_Life http://users.ign.com/collection/campkill1387 = My Collection

I recently bought animal crossing and it can be fun. Although it gets really repetive fairly fast. The game is doing favors for towns people, either getting them a certain item or delivering a certain item. You dig stuff up and buy stuff and use your GBA to connect for an Island Vacation. WHen you buy it new it comes with a memory card made for animal crossing. You can have a town with four of your friends. You collect fish, bugs, and fossils. You send mail. It's a fun game (especially just wearing the 'moldy shirt') It is sweet to unlock a possible 15 nes games...including The legend of zelda..I think (it may require gameshark for that one) I got DK Math and Balloon Fight, and I am pretty sure they record high scores. You said you like normal games, but you have got to get Super Monkey Ball 2 and of course Super Smash Brothers Melee. Those are the only good games.

I played animal crossing for 6 months in a row, everyday. It's fun, but like uglyjack said, it does get repetitive. I have caught almost every bug, fish and did get all the fossils. I've been meaning to get another memory card so my person could go to a different town and shop around there. You are supposedly able to "scare" away unlovalble neighbors in the game, but I have yet to been able to do that. I was super mean to this frog guy (digging pits in his yard so he'd fall in them and get upset) and hitting him with my shovel but he won't leave. http://www.myspace.com/jennikisaI need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

If you like Harvest Moon, I could see how you would like Animal Crossing. But I still wouldn't buy it, personally. You can only go out and fish for hours so many times... As far as the NES unlocks go, you can get the same deal with, say, an NES emulator, only it's a lot less work and you don't have to use the analog stick. Pikmin is ok, but you might as well get Pikmin 2. It's way better in so many ways. There's just so much more depth. It's a lot longer and harder (but not impossible) than the original. Plus it has 2-player cooperative mode. It'll last you longer. Pikmin 1 is short and easy and I got no replay from it. If you care about replay value, though, Super Smash Bros Meele is the way to go. I don't like fighting games either, but it's easily my faourite GCN game. It'll last even longer if you can get some people to play with you. Windwaker is pretty swell, even though everyone says not to get it because it's too easy. It's the first Zelda game I liked after A Link to the Past. The fact that I don't like OoT means you can disregard my sentiments on this entirely, I guess. I agree with uglyjack inasmuch that you should get Monkeyball 2. It's a lot less mind-warpingly hard than Monkeyball 1. That said, Monkyball 1 is still a game to consider. The mini games in that are fun. Monkey target? ACE! You may want to also consider a Sims game. Those are amusng enough. The Sonic Mega Collection is pretty hot, and the games translate well to the analog stick. Sonic 3 and Knuckles may very well be the best game(s) ever created. Sonic Adventure 2 is addictive also, but it's probably a game you'll only play for a few months, until you either give up on it or manage to get all the emblems. I like it though, and it may be worth a look. Mario Kart DD is fun also. But only if you play with at least 1 other person. [(Mario Kart)-(challenge)]*(4 players)+gimics= Mario Kart DD

Wow, I'm really surprised that no one mentioned Tales of Symphonia. That game is awesome. If you like RPGs, I defiatly reccomend this one. It's battle system is similar to that of Star Ocean: The Second Story for the PS. I absolutely loved this game. It also has lots and lots of good puzzles. This game is a very good, and well rounded game, not too mention cheap. You're looking around $30 CDN. Visit my Blog - Updated Nov 27th 2005

You're obviously going to get the new Zelda, right? Don't bother with True Crime, it's crap. I'm sure there's a bit where you have to fight a Dragon.

[(Mario Kart)-(challenge)]*(4 players)+gimics= Mario Kart DD nice equation  but i liked MK:DD. it's my favorite Mario Kart game (so far, MK:DS looks pretty sweet). i loved having two guys on 1 cart. get both the koopas. 6 red shells kicks so much ass. you can pwn n00bs on a daily basis with that set up. later in the game when you unlock toad, you can put him and the red koopa on a kart together and get super boosts and 3 red shells. that set up will also pwn n00bs on a daily basis. i never had anyone to play MK:DD with, none of my friends liked it. i always picked the koopas and killed them with the 6 red shells thing. they got sick of getting blasted with red shell after red shell.... what i'd do is get in "middle" place (you get all the best ammo in 4th-last place), let a friend pass me, nail 'em with a red shell, let them pass again, nail 'em with another red shell, and so on until you run out of red shells, but then you get some more, and when it gets around to the 3rd lap, hit 'em up with some red shells and take first place. works every time 8) http://www.geocities.com/nes_life = NES_Life http://users.ign.com/collection/campkill1387 = My Collection

Sonic Mega Collection-Is just a bunch of games in one. I got it for the Bonus Features.. Sonic Gems-Has Sonic CD and that alone is worth it. Sonic Fighters and Sonic Rush and a bunch of Game Gear games in it. Just that alone is worth it.
