I completed the surgery on my FF1 cart; the operation was successful and I'm playing that again. Also, thanx to NES Files (again) for the alcohol/Q-tip trick; I just went through all my games last night and they work better. Now I've just got to do the same thing to the connector inside the NES itself, but I was up several hours just doing the other stuff!

I am going to start Kuon (PS2)
I borrowed it from a friend (who hasn't played it), does anybody know anything about it? Does it suck? http://www.myspace.com/jennikisaI need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

I'm playing Amped 3. It's pretty fun, but it's really weird (in a good way) especially for a snowboarding game. I've given up on Jekyll & Hyde for now, but I hope to pick it up later.

Ecco Jr. Think what you will. I stand by my choice. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to keep my playful dolphin friends from stealing my treasure. ... Damn dirty pirates.

Now that I've beaten Ecco Jr, I'm on a Genesis kick, and I decided to try out the Gargoyles game. (For those of you who don't remember, Gargoyles was a kick ass movie and TV show in the mid-late nineties.) Now that I'm playing it... Holy Crap, this Game is AwesomeFirst of all, the graphics are gorgeous, and the animation is unbelievably fluid. The music, while nothing spectacular, are well-composed and fitting. The gameplay is standard platforming, but it's done very well, relying on climbing walls and "flying" (aka double jumping). The levels are interesting and well made (so far), and it has a nice difficulty level. My only gripe is that it can be hard to hit enemies if you're too close, which the game often forces you to be.

Yoshi's Island (still; man, that little guy needs to SLOW DOWN). And Casino Kid. Never played that one before, now I see where Daynum gets his Avatar/sig banner! This game is pretty cool. I tried getting a Genesis emu and the Gargoyles ROM to check it out, the results were pretty dismal--no sound, and when Gargoyles went into the game part, no picture.
