I got back to "Big Brain Academy" (japanese version) again. That's also a very nice piece of software and worth picking up when it hits the shelves over there.

I saw it at EB when I was there on... Wednesday? Wikipedia sez it released on the 5th.

Is it better than Brain Age? the writing detection and voice recognition made me just delete my profile and never touch the "game" again.

That depends on what you like.
Big Brain Academy doesn't depend so much on voice and writing. So in that way it's better I guess.
The training "games" are also a bit more fun than in Brain Training.
I personally like Big Brain Academy more.
(Maybe you should find a shop where you can try it before buying.)

Currently playing: DDR Mario Mix

Overall: my only complaint is it's too easy in general, but I guess this is a training tool for all the mainstream ddr players who will see this as a fad and just pass by.(sorry, I was ranting again)

NOW PLAYING:
SIMS 2 DS, REVIEW: I really enjoy this game. Some Reviewers gave this game a crappy score but I love many things about this game. Not the same as the PC version and it's not a port of the GBA version which is great. Everyone speaks Sim-ish. You run a hotel and try to get people to come into your hotel ans stay for a night or so. There is also Muti-play only for trading.

Rent or Buy?: Buy!

Overall: 8.5
I enjoyed this game so much. Tons of missions which you won't be able to beat the game in an hour or so..This game will keep you busy for hours, days, and even months!

Started playing Captain Skyhawk for the first time, and it rules. Varied gameplay, nice plane animation, smooth control, and 8-bit pseudo 3D stages. What the hell more could I want?

I think I'm going to VIO (Video Game Overdose), because I'm in way over my head with too many at once:
Dawn Of Souls, FF2 SNES, Rygar arcade version, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and Night Warriors Darkstalker's Revenge.
Help! Intervention! My eyes hurt!

 Yeah, that's how tired I was. It's getting warmer around here, and the sleep ratio goes into the negatives for me in hot weather.

I need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

Well, I just spent a pleasant afternoon playing Metamorphic Force, and I have this to say:
HOLY CRAP, THIS GAME IS AWESOME!
And, somehow I missed it when it was new in the arcade. If you haven't played it, you must check it out. Think Altered Beast meets Double Dragon.

Been playing Fire 'n Ice. It's an addictive little game. Always have to play "just one more level".

For the past 4 hours, I've been playing this:

Demon's Crest. It's a spinoff of the Ghosts 'N' Goblins series, for SNES. Up until 4 hours ago, I didn't even know these existed (there's also Gargoyle's Quest for Gameboy, and Gargoyle's Quest II for NES).
The hero is actually that red demon that's so annoying in the GNG series!

they're great games but, god are they hard! i started Demon's Crest but gave up, it get's stupid hard and makes no sense early on in the game.

Gargoyles Quest II is the best in the series, but it too gets pretty hard.

good luck with them :P

Right now i'm playing Call Of Duty 2, for the xbox 360. This game is seriously awesome and is prehaps the best (definately one of the best) game on the 360 as far.

Making my way through X-Men Legends again, seeing as how my save file on the sequel is on someone else's X-box.
