more info on games, rarety, photos, value, e.t.c

more info on the nes system, make another button dircect link to a page in nes files (not other sites selling nes stuff) so people dont have to go through 200 pages in the forums to find how to clean their system, or what might be worng woith their system, why it keeps blinking, and so on

this might cut down on wasted forum topics

cant think of any more

We might cut down the wasted topics/posts if people actually read the topic they are posting in. This is the NES Files Challenges Feedback.

My only question is: Is there a closing date for posting our scores (end of the week) or does each challenge carry on indefinitely?

It seems like a good idea. I think the challenges should last for a week maybe, and then move onto the next game.

Congraduration Captain Illiterate...

Now, for someone who can read the title, or first post...

Scores will be due one week after the challenge was issued.

This sounds like fun!! So all we do is take a screenshot of our highscore and post it (in the correct thread of course)?? Could there be a vote to select a new game or will it just be chose by one person?? I see the first is an Atari game but will others be NES or Genesis??

By the way I hope everyone is prepared for my total ownage in these games  .

The games will be selected by the moderators... for now. If we feel like we're running dry, we'll let everyone know. And yes, there will be other platform challenges ;)

Well, it's still fun.

I'll try all the challenges, even if I will (or do) suck at them :)

I like the idea, only if I don't enjoy the game that's being played, I simply won't bother to compete.

Is there a prize, besides bragging rights (which is still a swell prize)?

Is a "league" table going to be implemented?
i.e winner gets x points.
2nd place gets y points.

If every week there's a new challenge, what day does the next challenge start?

This one was issued on Wednesday, so the plan is that the new one will take place on Wednesday as long as nothing interferes.

Could there be some kind of "leaderboard" (perhaps on the first post of the main challenges thread) that lists who the winner was for what game and his/her score/time/etc.? Then update the post every time a new challenge is made.
Just so it will be easier to keep track of who has won and how many titles they hold.
(Of course I say this because I have won a few times and really crave attention).

...

The next challenge should be something 'Tetris' related (who can complete the most lines or something).

Or maybe a who can beat Super Mario Bros. 1 the fastest.
!!!
