Alright, here's the emulator, and here's the ROM. There will be a save state uploaded in around 24 hrs, so if you don't want to get to that level by yourself (it's not that tough anyway ;) ), you can wait for the upload of the save state. If you're going to do that, check here in a day or so for the link to it. Have fun, and good luck! EDIT Get the save state here.

can i just plug in my Mega Collection? because it has a save state thingie too. and i know i could only use it once.

Of course you can use the actual hard/software ;) That's why you have them, right? The links are there for those that may not have the games and/or systems for each challenge.

I feel a bit lonely about my 2:12 here... :oops:
I'll have to try harder it seems.
I'm just curious... are there shortcuts or some of that sort in that level?

My best time is 1:34, although little errors on my part make me think a time lower is still possible. I don't have any means of screenshots, but man...this level is annoying. All previous levels i can get under a minute easy. Suggestions: Use the Level Select code, saves plenty of extra time. You can easily beat Robotnik if you can land square on top of him. This lets you keep bouncing up and down nailing him. Avoid jumping high for tubes, you only need to open them. Beating the chemicals to the top on the diagonal pillar part is vital to a decent time. First, go to the Options menu from the main screen. From here, head to the Sound Select menu and play the following sounds in the order they are placed below: 19 65 09 17 Once you have played each one (1 time only), press the C button and then press Start to be brought back to the title screen. Now, when you see Sonic and Tails (Miles) appear on screen, hold down the A button and press Start while holding A to finish off the code. You will be brought to a menu where you have access to play any level in the game, whether you've completed the level you wish to play or not.

Ok, thus far this is the best I can do... (1) BTW, my hands hurt, I think I had stress induced controller handling syndrome. And what do you mean you have no means of a screenshot? Are you playing on your Genesis and not the emulator? :?

Yea, im playing my genesis. I have a controller for PC, but its not the same, I tried both and had better luck with Genesis. I've gotta get a webcam soon, but sadly I'd only use it for junk like this, so I'm a bit reluctant. I'll get a cheap hunk of junk one of these days... Oh yeah, got it down to 1:31.
