Your fanboyism knows no bounds. Although the DS is certainly the handheld console of choice for now. http://www.playthenes.com

There's nothing wrong with fanboyism. Time is better spent playing and talking about something you really love than constantly arguing about something you hate. I must say, for me anyway, the DS is not only the handheld of choice right now, but the overall console of choice. This is especially true for people who like the idea of portable wireless LAN gaming.

I feel they are, but the price tag isn't too nice. That's the only issue at hand.

The PSP ias surely the best handheld out there. It has the highest price, expensive games (yay!), the longest loading times
... It wins in all categories. :P
Now seriously: To be honest, I'd buy one if it was just a bit cheaper. It would make a nice SNES emulator to play good ol' RPGs on the go. :)
The quality of the screen is really amazingly good, but what really turns me off are the long loading times. I'm quite impatient when it comes to loading.

I saw a PSP "in action" ffor the first time at school, and the graphics and the clarity of the screen is amazing. But the kid says "the fuckin battery goes down to fast" I'd want one if it just had like a 20 Gb HD in it, to put movies and things in.. Like a iPod with a huge awesome screen :P

I bet the only modern console you have is a PS2, right? I've owned an Xbox and Game cube. I sold the Xbox because I needed money. I gave the game cube to my nephew because it had a ton of games suitable for children. I will say, the cube had the most comfortable controller I had ever played with. My hands never cramped playing that system.

ZEN, you argued against my comment, then you used it to back your opinion up. Looks like you're just throwing words around. Anyway, this is a pretty useless thing to argue. The DS is fun. I'm sure the PSP is too.

Yeah, no more console of flame wars. Basically all consoles have tjeir pros and cons, good games and bad games. Let's not be foolish and have an argue about which handheld is better.
