Hey I noticed something whilst playing a ROM for Mike Tyson's Punch Out. When I went to battle, I think, Soda Popinski, all the advice I could get from Doc was JOIN THE NINTENDO FANCLUB TODAY!!!!! Anyhoo, I was just wondering if this actually happened on the game at any point. If It's only on this one ROM, then has anyone else seen it? :?

Yep, it's certainly on the cart. I don't know if I find it funny, or annoying. I dislike paying for a game and having it plastered with ads. unless of course it's a racing game, where ads just make the track look like a real track.

Eventually that publication grew into something much bigger and was the precurser to what we now know as "Nintendo Power" magazine. Sadly no, you cannot join the Nintendo Fun Club in the actual game.
