The DS isn't so expensive. Do what I did. Work a few overtime hours here and there for a week or two, then buy one.

it was only $200 for me to get a DS and 3 games. buy used games, that'll save you a few bucks. and if you go to EB, get the Edge card, i've saved quite a few dollars with that thing over the past year.

For sure, even a single game purchase can save you almost the cost of the card. I use mine every time I go in there.
