I'm thinking of buying it, and its only 9.99 at Gamestop. Any good?

I greatly enjoyed it when I had my PS2. it's worth $10 for sure.

I didn't want to finish it, I enjoyed it so much. the timer was over 80 hours when I finally did run the final dungeon though.

Final Fantasy X is great. I spent about 60 hours on it, I think. Good times for sure, and from what I recall it's easily 100+ hours if you're a completionist. The best part about FFX is that when you beat it you're primed and ready to go on the best RPG for PS2, Final Fantasy X-2. I'm pretty sure it's under $15 bucks now.

I personally didn't like it, but then again, I'm an obnoxious asshole. And there still is no doubt in my mind that it is a spectacularly wonderful game, and everything you could want in an rpg. I would advise you to snag it.

Oops. Replying to a post that's a little old again, but my wife had FF X because she wanted a game that she could play & solve. The problem is, she loses her patience with games a bit too easily. She sold it (and a brand new strategy guide) to a friend, something we both regret. From what I saw of it I would definitley get it again.

Too bad I never got into Final Fantasy. Anyone ever played Xenogears? That game pwns supreme ass.

I did, but it kept rising from the grave and feeding. I had to put it down. "OneGenerationTooLate" wrote: Anyone ever played Xenogears? That game pwns supreme ass.
I've heard of that... vaguely. What the hell is it?

It's a game for PS1, two discs. You are either controlling a gear (like a giant transformer) or you're on foot. It has alot of nice Anime scenes as you progress. Pretty damn good RPG. I still haven't beaten it yet, though.

hmmm... why is it that I thought it was three discs? Did they release a more compact version? http://robertlbryant.com

I liked Xenogears, but hated the pathetic pacifist pansy (alliteration rocks!) of a main character. "Oh noes, I don't want to fight again!"
