I think that this game is FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! If you like DDR and you like to play guitar, or just attempt to like me :D, you'll love this game! I have Easy, Medium, Hard, and Almost Expert (6 songs to go) beat already!!!! I bought it about four days ago. I recommend that you turn the volume all the way up though if you do play it!Has anyone else played this? If so what are your thoughts on it?

DDR is " Dance Dance Revolution". You know, the games with the dance mats. : Guitar Hero is for PS2.

There isn't much exercise involved with Guitar Hero. Only if you throw yourself around the room in some rock'n'roll guitar solo frenzy will you burn the calories.

I wanted it the minute I saw it on Tech TV. I failed miserably at learning to play the actual guitar (probably due to the fact the person teaching me was my boyfriend) and feel I could excel at this. .
I haven't seen this game at any retail store (I haven't gone to a video game store lately though).

I forgot to mention how I got turned on to this game. I just saw people playing it at Best Buy and gave it a shot. I fell immediatly in love with it! I started looking all over for it prepared to pay $70 for the guitar + $50 for the game : (only because the display box said "game sold seperately"). I ended up finding it at GameStop for $70 game and guitar 8) You would probably have no trouble with this game Jenni. I suck at playing the guitar but I am damn good at this game. i got it, play it on expert, i beat Cowboys from hell expert but that damn Bark at the Moon. my favorites are Godzilla, Ziggy stardust, and Killer Queen

I just bought this tonight. It is so freaking fun!!!! I so kick ass (or at least I think I do). I'm on the third set of songs and haven't gotten less than a 95% on my first try.
It's so "Frequency" with a guitar! EDIT: I finished it on "easy". Stayed with 95% or better except for that damned Queens of the Stone Age song (87%). I think it f'd it up so bad because I didn't put the guitar down once the whole way through the easy level, and my fingers were killing me.
The husband stared in awe over my uber fake guitar talent.
And to think, he was the naysayer saying I shouldn't buy it. Peh.
