Hiya guys

I've been searching all day trying to get game genie codes to help out on my emulator called NNNesterJ Version 0.23. I've read the other post about it and how to work it but where can I find a game genie rom and how do I get these codes to work for 1943 and Final Fantasy III lol.

I got this emulator from a friend of mine two weeks ago and it's the only emulator I can use to play my PC controller.

If anyone can give me steps to get the Game Genie to work, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the time and hope to hear from ya soon!! ^^

Have you read this thead?

It seems to lay it all out. If you don't have the Game Genie ROM, check the sites listed in the 'ROM Links' thread in this same forum.

Yeah I've read the thread on how to put the genie in but I've also looked at the rom links thread and not so sure which to pick.

If you guys send me a link to which of the sites has the game genie rom that'll be great!! ^^

The name of the file you want to search for is called Game Genie (Unl).zip. Inside that should be the .nes file you're looking for.

Okay I've got the rom in and putted the code in how can i tell if the code is working I did change the file in the ini and did a reset it didn't do anything.

Like when I putted a code in should I put in like this:

TOSNLLLE 30 power points

then hit save?

BTW my emulator is on a another driver instead of the C Drive.

I think you leave off the "30 Power Points." Perhaps you can still put that in, but maybe put a semi-colon before the 30 Power Points... I'll have to check it out, as I haven't used that emu in awhile.

Alright, go into Options -> Folders. Click the browse button on the right side of the Genie directory, and point specifically to the genie folder through your entire path from My Computer or an equivalent thereof for whatever OS you're using. It should work then. Make sure you try other games too, as you might have a bad GG code.

YES!!! it worked!! the 30 point code for 1943 finally works the problem was I copy and pasted in the ini with the / at the end.

so I went into folders and right clicked button to the genie folder and resetted the game and it finally works!!

Thanks very much Roth!! :)
