I finally have something to counter all the Hot Topic posers that scoop up all that Nintendo merchandise because the 80's are "in" this week. (Of course, that's not to say I don't own a couple modern Nintendo shirts myself...) This is a vintage Mario Bros wallet that came out when SMB2 did, offered (excusively, I think) through Avon. My grandma got it for me for a birthday or a Christmas or SOMETHING, and I found it a couple weeks ago in a box of stuff. I have actually retired my current wallet to use this one. LOVE whipping this baby out at the liquor store. Ensures I get a couple more minutes' worth of ID examination from the clerk.  You can't tell in the pic, but on the front, Mario picks up the mushroom depending on which angle you view it from. Forget what those things are called....

Dude... You have some of the most cool stuff! You're going to be decked out NES style! If it were up to me, I'd run around in a blue ninja outfit all the time! ... well, not all the time.... Anyway, any other rare NES items you find, let us know. You seem to have interesting stuff laying around.

That's pretty cool, my freind has a nintendo one where the front of the wallet has a Nintendo Controller on front, like a rubber picture version of it.

Hot Topic sells those. My vintage wallet proves my 1337ness over the new stuff any day. Shows that I was there in the trenches from day 1, not just picking this stuff up now because it's "cool" again.

nice wallet! i don't have any NES stuff from back in the day, but i do have alot of ninja turtle stuff, like bed sheets that i still use! marbles, a towel that's on my wall like a poster, story books, pillow case, don and raph pillows, comics, all kinds of crazy stuff.... i would like to find my old halloween costume, but my mom thinks we gave it away :cry:

I know the German word, but unfortunately not the English one.
If anyone knows a good online translator you can search for it.
In German we call it "Wackelbild". Good luck. :)
