Square-Enix just announced today at their E3 Press Conference a new installment in their Dragon Quest series for the Wii.

Square-Enix just announced that Dragon Quest will be released for the Wii. This marks the publisher's second announced title for Nintendo's next generation console. Many fans of both Nintendo and Square-Enix will remember the announcement of a Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles sequel for the Wii.

The title is officially been named "Dragon Quest Swords The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors". It has been confirmed as a launch title for the Wii. AMN Wii will have more coverage on Dragon Quest during the rest of E3 this week, and more on the Wii.

Honestly, FF is dead.

FFXI is MMO, FFX-2 was an action game. FFXIII is supposedly now "an extreme action game" I'd much rather Crystal Chronicles, but without the requirement of 4 GBAs and 4 GameCube cables to play it.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
Dragon Quest for the new console? I can't fickin wait for that! Dragon Quest rules...far over FF!
If it's really a launch title it will help Nintendo's hardware sales a lot. A new Zelda AND a new Dragon Quest at the same time? They better produce some 10 million units there.

Really? I'm pretty out of the loop now that my EGM subscription was inexplicably canceled.

Oh, and SHAZAM!

A new Duckhunt.. This could be wonderful, or it could put a nice big puke stain on the legend of Duckhunt.

"Your lack of faith disturbs me."

Of course, when you remember the Zelda CD-i disasters, it can be hard to keep confidence...

The original Game Boys arrived in 1989. As well as the first, it's also the most successful pocket gaming format of all time

Why does everyone think that the GameBoy was the first handheld game system? there were several before it. Sure, most were ass, but they still hold their place.

Great, now I feel really justified in calling it the Game Boy DS.
