Actually, it's 'tilt' that they have in their controllers.

Quote:
Simply put, it's tilt vs. motion sensing. Monkey Ball for Wii and PS3 would essentially be the same, since it's only using the tilt ability of the controller. On the other hand, a 3D tennis game or sword fighting game with swing control elements is impossible for the PS3 hardware, as it requires full motion sensing technology.

I think it's funny they tried to take a step like that though. It's funny, 'tilt' has been around Nintendo for years... that Kirby Tilt 'n Tumble (GameBoy) game pops immediately to mind... I can't think of any others right now. But it doesn't matter too much, that price tag for the PS3 is ridiculous.

I can't see what's new about the new controller. The design is old, the technology is also...
Why does Sony always have to steal ideas from other companies and get away with it?

They don't get away with it, the cheaper version of the PS3 is practically useless. They've shot themselves in the foot.

You don't know yet.
You can't tell how many fanboys are still out there willing to fork over 600$ for their console. I'm afraid there are lots and lots. The name alone will be selling some units. And all the spoilt 10 year old brats who don't want "kiddie games" will be wooo-waahh about the new toy mommy bought them off eBay for 2500$ on launch day...
