Kind of ironic, how one of the first things that pops onto the TV screen is the MarcoVision protection bit. That poor NES should have had some protection from being gutted! It does look pretty cool, though. Neat how they arranged it so the lid would accomodate the DVD tray. I think that site is going to go into my favorites now; there's a lot of cool videos on there.

Yeah, I made one a few months ago. http://forums.nesfiles.com/viewtopic.php?t=1873&highlight=ndvdpThey're pretty neat, and look nice when you have somebody over "HAI A NENTINDO!!" Then I turn it on and the tray slides out 8) Mine isn't as well made as that one though. It's pretty hard work.. I wasn't able to put the DVD player outputs in the NES A/V slot because it was a monstrosity with about 6 different inputs, and the White/red/yellow jacks were a little spread apart :(

I love how the cart door crunches on the DVD tray when it slides open. Other than that, it looks pretty decent. I might get bored some time and cram one of my spare NES bodies with the guts of one of my teeny DVD players.

I was wondering about removing the controller ports and somehow putting a remote sensor in where the ports used to be, so you could control the NESDVD (?!) with a remote.
