Is that possible on MySpace?

You're either that, or an angsty emo teenager...

I don't know what all the myspace fuss is about, but I have the feeling that service isn't one that is appreciated by all... :)

Well, if you want to start a conversation, just do so?
"Hey, how are you?"
"I know where you live"... wait, don't use that phrase. :P

Good luck anyways.
I think people on those pages want to be approached, that's why they write their ZIP codes there.

If she has any interests/hobbies talked about on her page, ask her about them. It's a decent way to start a corrospondence.

MySpace is only 'gay' and 'emo' if you chose to make it so. It's very easy to set up a straight forward and clean looking profile. It's a great way to keep up to date with friends without having to be online at the same time as them.

Of course there are people that take things way too far. Like those with 500+ 'friends'. It's very easy to ignore those types.

MySpace is just the next logical step from Geocities pages, another communication tool abused due to its relative ease of use. Remember the personal Geocities/Tripod/CJB sites with thousands of animated gifs, tiled backgrounds, and looped midi files?

Myspace could be ok but emo kids have ruined it, i hate them. So arrogant and annoying.

It's also a good tool for new bands/artists to get recognition, people will listen to their songs, if they like, support the band, and it all goes from there..

I kept hearing all kinds of stories of fights in schools that happened over things that happened on that site on the news, so naturally I got curious and went to the site...too much crap trying to fight its way over my firewall. Wasn't worth the garbage to me.

I remember Uber Newb saying this sentence: "Myspace...Is...Evil..."

Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

You know, I almost typed that, and remembered that I'd seen that written somewhere before, I will not steal Uber Newb's phrases. Bad enough I stole his footnote idea...

If I remember correctly it's a "sister" company or either Fox News or CNN.

Pft. I could not be less bothered by people using my 'phrases'. "Long live the Public Domain"*!

Rupert Murdoch does indeed own it. so I guess it is a sister company to Fox.
