It seems to me that the SNES has a big library of games, many top notch of course. Anyway, enough musing, what's YOUR favourite SNES game (yes, you) Super Mario World is definately one of mine, along with A Link To The Past and of course, Super Mario Kart. Although i've not played them, Donkey Kong Country & Secret Of Mana are supposed to be fine games. Hopefully, if we all mention our favourite games, this could become a "good games" kind of thing too. After all, we all have imppecable taste.

Bio Metal, Bio Metal, Bio Metal. Bio Metal. Other than that, I loved Breathe of Fire II (the town building subquest was sheer genius.) Act Raiser I was damn good, as were the insanely hard Star Wars games. When I was younger, I loved Skul Jagger to death, but having played it again, I cant see why. Maybe because of it's personality.

Even though I haven't finished it yet, and I've got the ROM version **sigh**, I can tell it's probably going to be Yoshi's Island. I keep hearing good things about the Secret Of Mana, and I'll get to that eventually. Super Castlevania gets the vote, until I see what lies ahead in Yoshi's Island.

I think I'm going to have to go with Yoshi's Island for this one, that game is a little TOO well made. I'm not a huge fan of the SNES RPG library, though some seem to think those are the only games on the console.

If Yoshi's Island is that awiesome, I may very well buy it today. On a side note, I was checking out Secret Of Mana prices, 60 GBP boxed? No thanks. Some SNES RPG's sell for far too much. Another goon is selling Soul Blazer on Ebay for 350 GBP  Also, we lost out on Earthbound in the UK, along with other good sounding RPG's. Sorry, needed to rant a bit. Back on topic, i've been playing Sreet Fighter II turbo, and i'm enjoying it immensely, even though i'm really awful at it. Modern fighting games must be too easy.

I haven't played a wide variety of SNES games, maybe a few dozen. I'd say my favourites at this point are Donkey Kong Country 1-3, and Super Mario World. Real unpredictable, huh? I must be forgetting some awesome game that I worship, but it doesn't come to mind.

I'm gonna have to say SuperMarioWorld. Only because I haven't really played much of the SNES. That was one of the consoles I never had growing up, but I always wanted one. Now I have three :D.

I love the RPGs on the SNES, that's why I have to go with Secret of Mana here. Closely followed by Yoshi's Island. And After that Zelda III. I think the SNES is my favourite console to date.

I tried it several times, but I could never get into it really. I don't like to have to push buttons well timed during battles.

You and my friend are a perfect match. I really don't like the FF seris that much but games like Super Mario RPG and Mario&Luigi are great because they add some new stuff to the mix. Anyhow I let my friend try SuperStar saga I was seeing if he could do the Jump rope thing, Nope...I did it the first time!

My top 3, in no particular order, have to be Chrono Trigger (great characters, story, and everything), Illusion of Gaia (kept simple, good play mechanics), and Street Fighter Alpha 2 (just so advanced for the system). I do own Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island. Mario World, to me, is not as cool as Super Mario Bros. (All-Stars, to me, is a must have). Yoshi's Island is quite good though, but I'm more of an RPG guy I guess. http://www.etherealdivine.com
