Does anyone know the exact number of games released for the North American SNES excluding demos and promotional stuff? I think, including Super Famicom and Pal, the number is around 600-700, but what is it just for the North American system?

Wikipedia is infallible. clixI don't really know how to turn that into a number, other than copying the body into word or something and looking at the number of lines.

You're right, I was wrong. My original estimate was based off the Wikipedia list. It actually doesn't include Super Famicom games, but it includes PAL stuff, so it's slightly off. I actually found the official Nintendo list at http://www.nintendo.com/doc/snes_games.pdf which seems to only include north-american releases (e.g. it seems to properly exclude Terranigma). The count on that list is 716, so I think this might be the number I was looking for.
