There are mathematical rules. Whatever number you take there's already a certain result. So it's not really that mysterious. Every game that involves mathematical operations is scam. :P

For this game, just try every two digit number, i.e. 10 to 99. Then look at the symbols, you'll see that the symbols in the panels repeat themselves. The result you get is a multiple of 9. And all multiples of 9 have the same symbol in the chart. AND! The symbols change everytime you play just to make you more confused. You could try to make a chart and then you'll see that the computer isn't in your head. :)

Ok, say you pick 27, add 2+7, and you get 9. Then 27-9=18 Now do 28, 2+8=10, so 28-10, is 18. Now lets do 37 together, you get 10, so 37-10 is 27. All the possible numbers are multiples of nine, and they all have the same symbol.

That's basically what I said. All multiples of 9 have the same symbol, that's why the program knows what you take. ;)

Now it makes sense.. The 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, and 81 symbols are changed everytime you start a new game: Game 1 Game 2 Thats what gives you the feeling of change.

At the beginning this was kinda spooky, but when I calculated it after your instuctions, and realized that the number would, no matter what, be: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90, and those numbers would have the same symbol everytime, it made more sense.
Cool game, though.
Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

Now, after much poring over the equations (math is not a strong point here, by any means), it does make sense, and I am relieved. Now, if I can only figure out that flash game Luke conquered...that's an odd sucker.
