Heh. He says he "needs the money for his children's college education," another reason not to have kids :P ! I agree with you, NES-Rule, I d/l ALL those pictures. Just so I can look at them every day and cry. There's no way in hell I'd ever sell a collection like that! I notice he didn't have "Bubble Bath Babes!" ~EDIT~ I was so impressed, in fact, I emailed the seller and complimented him on his collection and good luck with his auction. WOW, indeed.

I could do the same as him, buy every single game one by one, but I don't think I have the patience.

Its a nice size auction, but do the math and each game is setting you back about $25. That being said, he really doesnt even have many of the really rare ones worth buying the set for. It's a good buy if you haven't got the patience, but I doubt its gonna sell. My List. Remember, everything can be bought, for a price.

I also guess that he won't sell it at that price. As rabidshark already said, that's 25$ (25.38 to be exact) per game. All the games mint or near mint is nice, but I doubt many collectors have a spare 20k $ lying around. Shipping won't be too cheap, too...
The pics are great, though. I have to download those for sure. :)
And if I was a millionaire (why can't I win that damn lottery?), well, I'd give him 20k for the lot in a second.

I would probably haggle him also, no matter how rich I was. Of course, he probably set that high price on purpose, actually wanting a lower one. And, he's not doing too well with it. One offer so far, and that's expired.

If I were the seller I'd consider that outright rude...

I'd love to own all of those games, but I can't afford that. Needless to say, they wouldn't stay sealed for long. Instead of spending all his money on games (that he's not playing) he should have saved it for his daughters education in the first place.

He may be one of those people that thinks a SMB/Duck Hunt cart is rare and thought he could make a profit on every one he bought. The boxes and manuals, though, he probably will take a loss. At least in this neck of the woods, those are next to impossible to find. BTW, I just found an original NES (for the system) instruction manual and a light gun manual in my attic last night  !

I would have thought so too, maybe he just payed over the odds or something, I don't know. And paying for three kids to go to college won't be cheap.
