If you like video game soundtracks and if you like them free, be sure to visit Galbadia Hotel. http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/view-allLots and lots of game music. You have to download them track by track, but that's not that much of a hassle (i.e. if you don't try to leech the complete site). Downloaded the Baten Kaitos soundtrack yesterday. :) Credit goes to cospefogo. He told me the address some time ago on msn. Happy downloading. :) And tell me what you think about it. What do/did you dl?

Great find, manuel!
Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

Man, I have been busy... I now have many, many soundtracks, the highlights being Metroid Metal and Killer Instinct: Gold Cuts. Feel the power, baby...On the other hand, why the f*ck would I want the soundtrack to Myst?! Most depressing game on the planet.

Nice website. Ok, this may sound like a dumb question, but whenever i download one, it just plays in window media player, but I can't save it. Is there anyway, I can save them on my computer after downloading them so I can burn a CD??? Thanks.

Just right-click the link and choose "save as...". Then you can burn it to any CD, e.g. with Nero or any other burning software.

Click on a game, click on the song you want, right click on "save link as" and it works. IE sucks, I hope you're not using it.

That site seems to be temporarily down right now. It's a great place. There is a lot of full soundtracks there. Some are actual game rips, others are taken from OSTs.
I highly recommend getting anything by Yasunori Mitsuda. Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Xenogears are among his best works.
Hitoshi Sakimoto is great too (Final Fantasy Tactics, Xenogears).
The music of 'Jet Force Gemini' is definitely worth checking out for those of you who like "epic songs of struggle". Ditto for 'Unlimited Saga'.
And of course, nothing tops Castlevania at its best.
Unfortunately, there aren't a whole lot of older game soundtracks though. Maybe that could be a future improvement. http://www.playthenes.com

I hope they are back soon. It's really a great page.
It's true that they don't have much older stuff, but that also may change in the future.
