Hey everyone! Derek has put a new attraction in the NES Files! You can now access auctions of NES games on E-bay directly from NES Files! It's pretty cool! All you have to do is go to the NES files main page: http://www.nesfiles.com/... and go to the section called 'Games.' From there, you'll see a list of games. Select what game you're interested in, to go to it. When you are on the page of your selected cartridge, you'll find something called 'Buy on Ebay.' Click on what you're interested in, and you should be taken to where you want to go! Pretty cool, huh? It's in real-time, so it doesn't need updating! Wow! I like! Also, on the Games page itself on the right hand side is a listing of E-bay auctions generated by the text search "NES." http://www.nesfiles.com/games/... AND on the Downloads page, there is a listing of E-bay auctions generated by the text search "NES Systems!" http://www.nesfiles.com/downloads.aspPretty cool stuff! Check it out! http://robertlbryant.com

That's a pretty cool idea, but I can't find the link saying "marked games"... :? Only "sell your games"...

  Typo. That sentence should read: ... and go to the section called 'Games.' That's the same link as the second hot link I have up there... I'll edit my post... Thanks. http://robertlbryant.com

Do you know if Derek has a deal with eBay? Does he get money when we click on auctions or so? Then we should click a lot. :)

Seriously I dont trust eBay. How can you trust an online auctioning company that allows their registured users to sell half eaten sandwiches and food that looks like the mona lisa. (I have seen this too if you are wondering).

Selling such stuff isn't allowed due to German law. So you can't sell this on German eBay. It all depends on the country's laws. When it's by American law, it's ok for eBay. I don't know American law, though...

It's not so much that Ebay allows users to sell things like that it's just that with millions of auctions going up each day around the world it's impossible for them to keep an eye on all of them (well unless they employed hundreds of people to sit at a computer all day validating new auctions, but then the listing price would shoot up). They rely on other users reporting dodgy auctions but some will always slip through. Having said that I'm sure they leave up some high profile auctions that will get them on the news, like a grilled sandwich that looked like the Virgin Mary I can remember! But stuff like that is just funny to me. :D

There is a German site that lists quaint and funny eBay auctions. I wonder if teher's anything comparable in English somehwere. For people who are interested, here's the link. But it's only in German. :( http://www.wortfilter.de/kurios.html

Cool, but I didn't know it was new? I wrote a new review for Magic Of Scheherazade a couple of days ago and could have sworn I saw it there. But again, cool! Next month, Karnov will be mine!

It's an easy way of using emphasis and insinuation. No craft involved. Of course, I just randomly dispense jokes when I see the opportunity, so there's really no craft in that, either. The vessel with the pestle has the pellet that is poisoned! Ha!
