I started collecting just last week (my g/f bought me a NES, 2 Controllers (original), NES Advantage (My favorite), NES Max, Power Pad, Power Glove, 30 games [Mostly random, but my one fav 3D World Runner], and a orignal grey NES Zapper Light Gun for my birthday). So I've found 3 local vintage game stores for all old systems to current. I've been splurging a little, buying more NES games and a SEGA genesis + games (she really wanted to play Sonic). I'll be posting pictures soon, just wanted to express how happy I am collecting.
Just picked up Strider, Gun Smoke, and Castlevania: Bloodlines (Genesis, I've wanted to play this for awhile).
