I'm wondering if anyone knows how to connect as SNES to a laptop. I'm stuck without a T.V. for the time being, but I have a brand new Del Inspiron 1300 laptop. I'm wondering if there's a cable that will let me set this up.

I believe you need a TV to PC adapter thing, then you can run the cables from the SNES into that, and display it on the compooter screen.m It'd set you back $40-$60 depending on what you're looking for.

Actually.. this might be a better option.

This cable is all you need to connect your PC or laptop to your home entertainment center.

All that will do is allow you to view your laptop on a TV which he doesnt have. I looked at the connections that a Dell Inspiron 1300 does have on it, and there's no video in port. So basically, no you cant hook up anything to view on your laptop screen.

You could use a usb video adapter if you don't have video-in on your notebook.

There may be problems, though. I don't know how other laptops are, but my Japanese Fujitsu notebook has video-in. Still, I can't play videogames on it. The problem is that there is a 1-2 second lag in displaying the image. So when you push a button you'll see Mario move 1 second later. I hope you know what I'm at, because I can't explain it better.

I see your point. I don't think I'm going to spend $60 on this kind of stuff. I'm at the university res at Algoma right now, and there is a public t.v. so I might just hook it up to that some time.
