Montreal Gazette
Published Wednesday, September 13, 2006

A woman in her 20s has died of her injuries after being shot by a gunman who walked into Dawson College and opened fire this afternoon.

The woman – one of 11 people who suffered gunshot wounds – died just before 6 p.m. in hospital, Radio-Canada reported.

The incident, reminiscent of the Polytechnique shooting in 1989, started just outside an entrance to Dawson’s downtown campus on de Maisonneuve Blvd. near Atwater Ave. The first shots were fired shortly after 12:30 p.m.

Who wants to bet that it gets blamed on video games?

Just like Columbine, and all the other ills in the world...

Yep, and it'll probably be the GTA series. I don't know about everyone else, but video games actually help get rid of some of the violent feelings that pop up from time to time.

They said his favorite video game was : Super Columbine Massacre

It's actually an RPG game that you shoot the kids at Columbine. Makes me sick :x

Luke beat me to it, I wanted to bring that up.
I guess they'll "find out" he played lots of evil videogames, which drove him to do that.

I want to go on a violent killing spree, and shift the blame to video games. Since I don't know the difference between reality and gaming (because I'm an idiot) I won't get in any trouble. Free murders for OSG.

Also, it might be an idea to tackle random elderly people on the street, and say it's because I watch too much football. I'm not clever enough to figure out the difference.

Happy tackling.

I'm looking forward to seeing OSG on the news then. :P

What if you really like Doom but suck at it? Can the frustration be an excuse to blow some jocks away?

His pic is also in the Toronto Star today. I guess soon they will have to check your stuff before you enter the schools now? Kind of like an AirPort. It may take longer but its better to be safe then sorry.

They started doing that after Columbine, but i've never heard of it being enforced in Canada, (shootings are quite rare compared to the US) and it probably laxed out in the US.

I don't think they do that in Canada. Like say if this Shooting had happen say in the USA I think the News would have made it a much more of a bigger deal they what it is now. They really didn't show much on our TV stations here.
