What's the best place to download SNES ROMs?

Most of the sites in the NES rom topic will also carry SNES roms: http://forums.nesfiles.com/viewtopic.php?t=244&start=0Personally I like www.rom-world.com , but it's their policy to not carry roms of the most popular games so you'll have to look elsewhere if you want Mario, Zelda, etc.

Damn rom-world! They list all the cool roms (even hacks) and then you can't download them. Then just try the sites listed in the NES emulation forum. Usually you find it somewhere there.

:?: What couldn't you download? The hacks are my favourite part of the site. I've downloaded loads of the SMB ones no problems.

To Manuel: I haven't had any problems with downloading from there, either. You have to make sure to do the two votes, dude.... maybe you're skipping over that? It's not that bad, because you only have to do it once per day. http://robertlbryant.com

I've never voted on any of those sites... a big hassle when there is a nice list of others right on this forum.

You don't have to vote at rom-world, it just asks you to.

Hmmm... never really noticed that before.... Gonna have to quit voting since the voting places are such questionable places! :) http://robertlbryant.com

It must just be that ROM. There may even be a couple of others like that. Anyway, I guess there's not much you can do about it. They really should just tear down the link, or give a link to another site... http://robertlbryant.com

Yes, it's not a big problem, though. You can get everything you want from other sites.

In the past few days I've been downloading a lot of Genesis and SNES ROM files and I've used emuasylum.com for all of em. That site is really good. I suggest it to anyone.

That site looks good. :D
And they have masses of romsm, but it seems that you have to make a donation to download... they allow you a 120mb for free, as far as I understood...

I'm not going to count CD images, since they're mostly just packed with garbage, and not really a ROM in my opinion, for it to be a ROM it has to have been dumped from a cartridge. since that's why the name ROM came to be. They were a dump of the data contained on the ROM chips inside the cart.

But isn't a copied Saturn CD a rom, too? At least it's a CD-ROM.
Doesn't matter. I just wanted to say that they also have Saturn games for download.
