I decided to try my hand at making a video. I think it turned out okay. It's called NES Tips - Double Dragon. If you want to check it out, here's the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=5Xz-GKTBXRQZEN and I will be collaborating on other vids later down the road too, so that should be interesting :) Any feedback would be cool, as I think I'll make more of these. http://robertlbryant.com

Holy crap, I've been completely and utterly.... PWNED!!!!!!! Very good video! It'll be useful, too. I've only been able to conquer the NES version once in my life, and I think that was sheer luck.

I had NO idea about the bat swinging and the boss skipping. I always just punched the crap out of everything in the first level to get my first few hearts up. Now, as for the video itself, it's better than anything I could do, but I was bugged by a couple of nitpicky things. First, the Double Dragon title overlapped the side bars on the beginning theme screen. That bugged me. Secondly, the smiley face was funny, but kind of cornball. It took away from the overall sense of simple professionalism, which I think is a refreshing change from every single other NES video out there.
The SiniLegion wants YOU!Signature mostly fixed by Luke. ;)

Hey, thanks for the feedback guys :) Yeah, there's some pretty cool things you can do on that game. As for the title being lower, yeah, bugged me too. I was anxious to get it up though, so I really didn't feel like fixing it. The next one will look a tad better though... I hope :P Thanks again all. http://robertlbryant.com

No prob...and I've got a suggestion for a future video, since we all know you've beat it before--Mike Tyson's Punch Out! That would make for some helpful and entertaining watching.

May I suggest Dragon Spirit...?
If you think you're right, you're probably wrong. If you think you're wrong, you're being negative. My thoughts are definitive; the universe is frequently wrong.

I had a tough time with it when I first started playing, but that's one of the reasons it became my favorite. You can actually get better at the game as opposed to some games that you can't because of sheer luck on them. Thanks for checking out the vid Daynum :) http://robertlbryant.com

Roth, I've got to tell you, the worst video I've ever seen...NOT!
This was great, man! I've finally heard your voice too, I've always been wondering what your voice was like for some reason.
It's not very often I bother to watch those tip videos, since they often get boring. Not here though. You manage to make them entertaining, and not just lay out the facts.
At the point where you said that we didn't want to look like this, and then you showed the sad face, but we wanted to look like this, and then you showed the happy face. Then you said: "Just a little less goofy." That made me laugh, and that's not often, I swear to God.
I hope you make more of these and keep us informed, Roth.
Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

Ah, you made Ninja Gaiden look so easy...these are now considered my NES "Homework Assignments!" :) Going to check out the Jaws one soon. Ah, and I kicked Double Dragon's butt again today. I now wish I hadn't written such a terrible review of that game in our section here...with your tips, it's become a favorite the last week or so!
