Man, I searched and searched for the name of this cartoon: "The Pirates of Dark Water". I saw this show on Cartoon Network when I was a kid. I never found the name of the show untill now. Has anyone else here seen this?

Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

Yeah man, I think there were only 13 episodes ever made too. I remember only little bits of it... like they were looking for ... seven? thirteen? ... some number of items to do something with. I really don't remember what it was all about, but I used to love that cartoon. I'd watch it before school :P Definitely a good one that should've had more episodes made.

Yeah that's right, the adventurers were supposed to collect Thirteen Treasures of Rule, which possessed the combined power to stop an evil substance known as "Dark Water" from consuming the alien world of Mer.

Due to expensive production costs and failing to meet the airdates, the series was never completed, ending abruptly after 21 episodes with only eight of the thirteen Treasures collected...

It still was a show that I would never forget, I really loved it!

holy crap. I totally remember Fox promoing that series like no tomorrow. then it got crushed by the almighty one-and-only Power Rangers.

I remember this cartoon. It was one of my brother's favorites. I remember the main character had a broken sword as a weapon which confused me when I was a kid. Oh wait, it still confuses me.

Oh, yeah...I forgot about that. I remeber it now though. The protagonist Ren, I think he had this medal thing around his neck too, and whenever the dark water would appear, he would stop it with this thing.

I can't torrent anything, until I can get my own internet connection up here. My brother's afraid that the evil multimedia corporations will get us if I do.

Eh. I've told him it won't happen, but he's still worried. He hasn't been bothering me lately, so I'll put up with it. Besides, if my job interview goes well today, I'll be able afford wireless internet.

Well, I started downloading it some time ago, and mine's reached 20%, so it can't be the torrent there's something wrong with...Maybe they just stopped seeding or something.

Awesome, man! I remember the theme song when I hear it from that intro, and the intro itself! Priceless. Now when I see it again after all these years, I realise how cool this was. It's just too bad that they never finished it...

What's really cool though is that you can see the first episode, and probably a lot of others too, in three parts.

So here's the first episode "The Quest":

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgx8WjZ_0TE

Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzc4IR1vLoU&mode=related&search=

Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aD1jrC25oJo&mode=related&search=

I've been watching Metalocalypse some time now, mostly because there's a Norwegian in the series. :P

What do you think of that cartoon?

I haven't seen Thundarr before, is it any good?

When I think back, there's another "not too famous" cartoon that needs mentioning: SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron. Man that show kicked ass!

Here's what I think is the official page for the show: http://www.swatkats.us/

Here you can download all the episodes for the show, but note that these files aren't torrents.
