Yes it seems it's perfectly legitimate to end an auction early because no one has won the item yet and therefore it is still the property of the seller. It's only when the item is won at the end of an auction that a contract is formed between the buyer and seller. To me it all seems a bit unfair because the item was sold without the other bidders having an opportunity to raise their amount, but hey that's life.

Sealed can go insanely high yeah,but i can understand if it's one of the last you need to complete your collection as collecting sealed.
