Well, be sure to add Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior Series, Dr. Mario, etc. to that list of must-haves...

FF and Dragon Warrior 2-4 are the first ones on the list, I'm not especially fond of Dr. Mario, but I'd pick it up if I found it

That's quite a nice collection, there! I don't have too many boxes, those places I shop are tough to part with them. I have a power pad, however. I've got a CRAPPY digital camera. I'll try and do something similar to what you have posted elsewhere. It'd be nice to see them laid out!

I've got a lot of carts waiting for me... one guy has 10 carts + a complete game genie, and a computer, I just need to get shipping to him. My girlfriend has found two people with carts that I'll likely be getting either for free or something like $1 a cart, so when these deals all get finished up I should have a much nicer collection.

I know what you mean. I'm just under 200, and I'm like "Dude, I have alot of games!" Then when you see some of these collections on-line it's like "Dude, I have a while to go." :(

I saw one person's webpage with photos of over 1300 carts. I'll see if I can find a link.

JESUS!!! Were they all NES? If so, wouldn't that give them a whole lot of doubles?

yeah, all NES, I would assume there were many doubles. The site is gone now, when I last saw it he said they were going up on ebay. Except for his top loader, and a few games that he liked.

I have 3 friends that are big collectors, with several hundred carts between them. Sometime it would be fun to inventory what they have.

All my original cartridge games from NES-N64, including Sega systems, were all slowly pawned off by my little brother over the years. I have just started trying to build my collection back up recently, and here's what I have, along with rarity rating:

720º *C*
Afterburner *C+*
Anticipation *C-*
Baseball Stars *C+*
Godzilla *C+*
Guardian Legend, The *C+*
Ikari Warriors *C-*
Kung-Fu Heroes (w/ manual) *C*
Low G Man *C+*
Metal Gear *D*
Nightmare on Elm Street, A *B-*
Ninja Gaiden *E*
Ninja Gaiden II *C-*
Operation Wolf (w/ manual) *D*
Rygar *C*
Skate or Die *D*
Street Fighter 2010 (w/ manual) *B-*
Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt (w/ manual) *F*
Uninvited *B+*
Xexyz *C+*
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (Gold cartridge) *D*

Looks like my collection is very average, rarity-wise.

personally I'm more concerned with getting fun games before rare games. I'll grab rares if I have the chance, but I play my carts all the time, so I want coolness, then expensiveness.

I agree with that. However, it is cool to have rare games. Makes you feel a little more special in this world. :D
