Welcome to The NES File's new message forums. We have added these new forums using phpBB-- a far richer forum software than we used before. Enjoy.

I should have went with professional forum software like this to begin with instead of trying to write my own... But that was 4 years ago now... ;-) I'm trying to be a bit more active with the site and the forums particularly. The NES Files has gotten a good deal of traffic lately, and I'm looking to increase it even more. We'll be here for a long time still! -- Derek

I'm thinking of doing some general re-design with the site-- paginate the review system, moderate/approve the reviews(some are kinda low quality "this game sux" reviews now), etc. -- Derek

I wasn't here before. Was the place very active? Why did it go away?

I believe I had visited the site before. I don't think I went to the forums at all. I remember searching for booklets, and found this place. The reason I remember it? The lime green on black. I like the appearance as well. Very crisp looking. Sure am glad it's still here, I've been having a blast! http://robertlbryant.com

I'm hoping to redesign some of the site soon, but I'll be keeping the scheme... I actually had to do work to make these forums this color-- some things still don't look quite right, as the icons are mostly based on a white background, but I'll work on converting those over eventually, too. Thanks! -- Derek

Hi, I'm Ing Fuk. I don't remember how can I found this forum, when I search for some NES ROM in Google Search. Thanks to Google. Now I'm 27~28 years old. When I was 10, on school holiday after registration, I got a gift, Nintendo, with the catridge Super Mario Bros 1. What a happy moment. And till now, I still love to play Nintendo, altough must from emulator, because my Nintendo has some problem.
This forum prove a lot that there is some people that still love Nintendo like me. I'm happy can find and join this forum.

I'm assuming that this is where you introduce yourself. I'm Gautami. I'm a BIG NES fan; & this is the first forum I've posted in. I found this site while searching for NES games. I'm a big fan of the game, The Guardian Legend(see avatar). As you may have guessed, I qualify for "worst user name ever". I don't think the name sounds bad though, for a microsoft word font. Thanks again to Roth & NES-luke for the bigger avatar, & thanks to the new MSN for finding this site. I've should've introduced myself sooner. I don't mean to make requests like a big shot, but maybe there should be a topic where new users can introduce themselves, if this topic isn't the place to do it. I'm a dreamcast fan, too.
