Whoa... That one kinda came outta nowhere. But, here ya go.
A simple Google search:
http://www.google.com/search?hs=miu&hl=en&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=Cc+in+emails&btnG=Search
First search result:
http://forum.wordreference.com/showthread.php?t=50878Which gave me the answer.
Cc (carbon copy or courtesy copy) = send copy to others. which you use mostly.
BCc (blind carbon copy or....) = send a copy to one (or more) select party without the others knowing about it.
That's a very rough translation, but about 2 minutes of reading on that link should make it clear.
BTW, thanks. I always wondered that myself.. just never bothered to look it up.
EDIT Hah, its late and I just realized what he was really asking
But I think it is still kind of answered in that link..
"to" is who the email is TO directly
"Cc" is when the email is not directly to someone but you still want them to see it. err something...
Sort of the "politically correct" way to e-mail??
I need to go to bed and this million mile post needs to end, so, Goodbye.
