I don't celebrate thanksgiving or christmas. Since the rest of my friends and family do, I usually just sit at my house and drink.

As we don't have children in our household any more, we also don't celebrate christmas that much, i.e. no presents and stuff. Just being together and having a good dinner. It's basically what's christmas is supposed to be about. I guess I will treat myself to some gaming goodness for xmas. But I can't play too much, because I have to work on my graduation thesis.

About the same here, both my wife and I don't have much family left. We may do something with her brother, like a restaurant or something, and we always seem to celebrate the two holidays with our friends the day before or after, because everyone we know is so hard up for cash they usually volunteer to work for the overtime on the holidays! As for gifts, everyone understands our terminally ill financial situation, and they like whatever we get them (even though it's usually something from the dollar store). My wife is into scrap-book making and collecting stickers lately, so I'll probably get her something for that. As for me, I asked some friends for three things: A Wii (wish in one hand, crap in the other...), another USB controller for my computer for back-up, and the PS2 Street Fighter Alpha collection. Out of those three, I'll most likely get the last two. And another tradition is to listen to Christmas music, of which we have quite a collection, do some videotaping, and watch at least five Christmas movies (The Beavis & Butthead Christmas tape is one my wife and I have watched every year together since we got married, what a weird tradition, lol)!

At around 7:00 am this morning my friend called me and asked if I wanted to get breakfast with him. Then I went to VV found nothing really....expect Super Godzilla for SNES. Then I headed over to Costco and saw that everyone was going crazy at the Gaming section. A bunch of Games from systems like, GCN,PS2,XB and DS, $20 each they also had these bundles they were like $24 I think. Then I headed over to Future Shop and headed stright to the Wii section and stood there for a good while looking at the DBZ:BT 2 game for Wii. They had DBZ:BT 2 and Red Steel left. And then it was off to the Family Lunch at this Buffet. Then I headed out and went Christmas shopping and boy was that fun.... But then I bought myself DBZ: Saga for GCN thats my little "Tie me over to Christmas" Game. By Christmas I Should have a Wii. Can't wait. Now I have to wake up at like 5:00am on sunday because my folks want us to go to Church and we need to go to the earlyest one... . Screw it I rather go to Hell. And I am happy my Christmas shopping is done! I also went to EBgames and they had a Wii Demo unit set up beside a PS3 one and the PS3 one froze...I don't know if Exite Truck is a good Game to show what the Wii can do...I mean it's not one of those games that you can just jump into. Less then 25 days till my Wii!!!

Personally, I think the Wii kiosk sucks. Excite Truck, which controls like crap, connected to a high def LCD display with composite cables. the picture quality is garbage, and it doesn't fill the screen. I really hope the Wii picks up faster than the DS did. The PS3 one is also crap, did anyone notice that the PS3 that you can see through the plexiglass isn't powered on, nor does it have any cables connected to it. to completely debunk the fanboys that say the PS3 is cool and silent, put your hands on the sides of the lower section of the PS3 kiosk. That heat is from a good distance away from the console. Next, listen, generally they're in a noisy store, but you should still hear the jet engines in the bottom.

I don't mind how kiosks look. What me bothers more is that I don't know who touched the controllers before... Sometimes you find very greasy looking controllers and those I don't want to touch. :x
I don't undferstand why they use hi-def screens for Wii games. It's a waste of money.

I just don't like how I have to use a Credit Card to play the Wii at EBgames. It's not like I will steal or break the Wiimote. The Waiting is killing me...., Luke do you plan on getting a Wii before the end of the year? Maybe if your a Good Boy Santa will bring you one!

Unless of course there are some must own titles that aren't hacked up versions of GameCube games.

I don't like xmas. Xmas means I have to spend money (that I don't really have) to buy people (that don't really deserve) presents. Sure, you get presents in return, but I'd rather spend that money (that went towards their presents) to buy what I really want, instead of getting crap that I don't want from them. Besides, it's supposed to be "christ's" birthday, not theirs, so WTF am I buy them presents? ? Anyways, enough of my grinchy rant. I do make cookies for people though. That is something that I enjoy and they enjoy and I didn't have to go broke doing it.
And I'm not putting out the tree this year, I'm sick of my cats being retarded and eating the fake tree and leaving treeballs all over the floor. http://www.myspace.com/jennikisaI need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

Last night we put up the Festive Tree. Also if anyone wants to get me a Gift for Christmas I would like this: UpdateI went over to my Local EBgames after my classes and I asked one of the workers there if any ID would work to play the Wii, He said he would need a ID that he could charge if something happens to the Wii. Maybe a Bank card would work? Also I have a Question, is Sony Marketing the PS3 as a Video Game system or as a Blu-Ray player?
