Quote: "The rumor comes from fellow reader Fei34 who claims that a fellow DigiPen employee told him that Sega Saturn games would indeed be making an appearance on the Wii. Although this could still be wells away from becoming true, the fact that DigiPen, a highly respected video-game school in Redmond Washington, has this sort of knowledge is pretty intriguing. Especially by the fact that both Nintendo of America’s offices and DigiPen’s campus actually interconnects by a simple hallway. Could Fei34’s DigiPen source have even closer access to NOA’s employees in which he/she may have gotten the information?
The only thing that Fei34 left me was a confirmation that a “big game was coming.” Whether that’s a Sega Saturn game (like Panzer Dragoon Saga) or not, only time will tell. So don’t dismiss Nintendo’s systems on the Virtual Console as being cemented just yet."
SourceHopefully this is true...But we all know that Saturn is a beast to Program for just hopefully they find away to do it and get Saturn games on the VC. Only time will tell.

VC? Not going to happen. How big are Saturn games? I guess between 100 and 700MB, or even 1500MB when they're spread among several CDs. Those games would never fit into the 512MB of internal flash memory.
What I think is possible are ports of Saturn games to Wii. Panzer Dragoon would be nice with better graphics and a new control scheme...
If the Wii had a laser for reading compact discs, there would be the possibility of downloading an emulator software where you could play your old Saturn titles. Not going to happen, either...

All of those, combined with the absolutely insanely complex hardware of the Saturn, I don't think we'll be seeing any "working" emulators of any form for a good while.

Are there working Saturn emulators for PC? I looked at some emu pages, but I don't want to download and install emulators to try... Are there any that work well? Has anybody here on the forums tried Saturn emulation already?

Then there is no *really* working one out there. I guess that buries the idea of a Saturn emulator on Wii. I guess not even Nintendo could program one. But Master System would be cool. Or Gameboy.
