This week's pick was David's choice.

"Wikipedia" wrote:
Duck Hunt is a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game console system in which players use the NES Zapper to shoot ducks on screen for points. The game was developed and published by Nintendo, and was released in 1984 in Japan. The ducks appear one or two at a time, and the player is given three shots to shoot them down.
Duck Hunt was one of the two original pack-in titles for the first release of the game system (the other was Gyromite).[1] The game was not often reviewed, but given positive reviews from players of the game. Duck Hunt will appear as a Virtual Console game on the Wii.

This one's a fun title. And the dog's annoying. What could you say more?

The ducks from this game appeared again in Wii Play. And soon Duck Hunt will be on the Virtual Console. Any Wii owners plan to buy that?

Cover comparison:

This time again I like the American boxart better. The Japanese one looks a bit... cheap?

Which do you like better?
...
Oh yeah, and how much do you hate the dog?

May 16th...

This is one of my favourite games of all time, no matter how much I play it I never seem to tire of it. I feel that the learning curve is pretty good on it. But, most importantly, it's fun.
I think in this instance, I prefer the american box art.

I love this game! It's probably cheesy for many people, but it's really fun to me. I've always liked this game and it was actually the reason why I came looking for it here on the NESFiles at first, before I eventually decided to stay. I prefer the American Box Art too. As for the virtual version of the game for the Wii, I don't own a Wii, but if I did it would definetly be the first game I would buy for it.

Actually, not all was thinking. Some was plotting, some was planning, and finally the explaining of my plan which I plotted after I thought of it.

Like most people probably this was the first NES game I had along with SMB. The novelty of using a light gun was very cool. I can't say I play Duck Hunt all that often but it is good for a blast every now and then.

One of my first loves in gaming... I actually play Duck Hunt quite often, especially since I modded that Zapper. I had to put it through extensive testing

Just happen to have a review for it. Not like you need a review for it, may as well review an apple or logs. lol

I remember being a Showbiz when I was very young. My Dad was playing Duck Hunt on one of the arcades. He shot the dog. Then the dog comes out on crutches, with a cast, and looks beat up and pissed. I'm not sure if this only happened on the arcade version (PC-10 or whatever), but I tried to re-create this on the NES version with no success.

Especially check out Modular11, but enjoy many duck hunt songs.
