They're happening all the time, probably weekly. It only seems like a big event because stores stockpile them for big sales to drum up excitement.

Alright, Nintendo has pissed me off. What do they have to gain from shipping limited supplies? Plus, none of the stores know when any are due in, even remotely. So I guess I have to go to the same stores everyday. Ugh!!!

They ship all the units they have and produce at full capacity. No need to be pissed off. It's not their fault that people are buying the Wii that much.
I was in 3 stores today and in one of them there were about 5 Wiis in stock. Then I saw 2 men in their 30s buy 1 each. I guess the other 3 were sold, too pretty quick.

Yeah, I know. It's just frustrating. I want to buy a new system and would rather have a Wii than a 360 (atleast for right now).

Or maybe he appreciates the games for the Wii more.
I'd also pick a Wii over a 360 any time. Why? The 360 has only 2 or 3 games that interest me. That's the biggest problem. You can't catch me wit GoW, Halo or other war games, because I don't like them no matter how "good" they may be. Wii has about 6 or 7 already. It's that easy. And 250$ is easier to shell out than 400. That being said... even 250$ I don't want to spend. I'll buy it when it's around 100-150$ in Japan (i.e. 10000-16000Yen)
At least in my case it's not what Aaron said... I don't mind supporting Microsoft.

Well thankfully the 360 is sealing better then the first Xbox. Everyone is forgetting that the 360 can double as a Paper Weight. But with all jokes aside just go when the stores get there shipment. Ebgames in my area tells me that the past time is around 10:00am.

I can only think of two games I'd like to check out on the Wii, Zelda, which is little more than a hacked up Cube game, and Wario Ware. My question wasn't meant to instigate a flame war, I just really don't see what the draw to the Wii is at this point.

I will end up buying both eventually.
For now I would like to have a Wii. More Wii games appeal to me know than most of 360s. Plus, I'm starting to get my woman into video games and she shows much interest in the Wii. Plus, money also.
I will get a 360 pretty much for XBOX Live only. A lot of my buds play on there. I'll probably get one a couple months after the Wii.
Yeah Aaron, I feel the same way. I have a PC with XP that I can do most everything on (emulators, pc games, etc.) But I'm definately a Mac man. :D

With my new PC I own I have been playing games and other things on a PC that I could never do on my Laptop. It rocks. But yes everyone should have the Wii60 combo. Not to many 360 games I am looking forward too.. And hell I want to get my own 360 never get to play my fathers 360, Anyways I really want Blue Dragon and Banjo 3. I can't wait for more info and screen shots of Banjo 3. As for the Wii, Sonic and the secret rings and Mario party 8. I hope we don't have to wait to long for Wii games with Online multi-player I wish Mario Party 8 had Online features... I wonder how the 360 will work with Windows Vista? Any ideas?

Yeah I can't wait to be able to play the Wii online. Not sure about the 360, but I've been hearing that people are having problems with PC games and Vista. Can't remember exactly what it was though.
I never install a new operating system right after it comes out. Too many compatibility issues. Now if I can get a hacked copy, I'd put that on my second PC.

Well, I went to Target, BestBuy, Wal-Mart, and Meijer today at lunch, and ofcourse, they're all sold out. Plus, they have no clue on ship dates. It's driving me nuts because I couple people I work with "said" they have seen them.

They are sold out because the they allow the employees to buy them up *and they go around and sell them to desperate people for a jacked up price*. I know this because I've worked retail many years.
The only reason I have my Wii is because my ex supervision hooked me up. Otherwise they were basically selling before they hit the salesfloor. http://www.myspace.com/jennikisaI need friends.... I had to nix Tom. He wasn't really my friend. His smile "mocked" me.

My question wasn't meant to instigate a flame war, I just really don't see what the draw to the Wii is at this point. I know that you don't want to start flame wars. As an admin you're here to stop those. What I wanted to say is that tastes are different. For you the 360 has undoubtedly more interesting games than the Wii. For me (and maybe other people, too) it is the other way round. The games on the Wii that I like (I played those) are Zelda (a very very... VERY good Cube game ;)), Wii Sports, Wario Ware and Rayman. I haven't played those, but from what I've read I'm sure I'd like Super Monkey Ball, Elebits or Trauma Center. In a few weeks to months there will be Dragon Quest, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Mario Party, and probably even more interesting ones. On the 360 there's Oblivion and Blue Dragon. I personally wouldn't buy a console of this price for 2 games.

I tried the PC version of Raymen Raving Rabbits. It's very fun. Wario Ware was alright. But my favorite Wii game is DBZ: BT 2. Zelda was good but it wasn't nearly as good as I thought it woulld be. But still enjoyable none the less.

I actually traded consoles with a buddy for a little while. My 360 for his Wii. DBZ is pretty fun so far, but I have only done some of the training . Go Wii Sports!!!

I hope DBZ: BT 3 has online play. That way I can at least have an Challenging Human player to play aginest. I beat anyone who plays me at DBZ: BT 2. Oh nice trade. 8) Lets just hope Luke doesn't see this thread. He would flip that you traded your 360 for a Wii. As long as you are happy that's all that matters. Who do you use the must in DBZ: BT 2? I usee Majuub and Bebi Vegeta the most.
